The background image promotes the daily deals of Hertz, while the right hand provides general information of Hertz’ discounts and services.
We actually expected a better view on their official site: since Hertz had been going on for almost 100 years, their layout could have been more user-friendly or at least modernized. People do believe first impressions last; who would trust a company that doesn’t even have the initiative to develop their own domain?

However, we are disappointed to read the feedback of actual customers of Hertz. On Trustpilot and ConsumerAffairs, the car rental site receives daily complaints which explain why it reached to an overall rating of 1/10. After reading the most recent Hertz reviews, we found out that the majority of complaints circulate around the weird charges customers had been seeing on their bank statements which are charged by Hertz. We actually thought at first that Hertz was a stylized version of “Hearts,” since the company had been providing love and care to their loyal customers. However, it is not a joke that their reputation is in a bad shape. Maybe answering customers’ concerns is better than ignoring them, because the latter will cause more suspicion over the “scam” issue of Hertz. We do believe Hertz will find a way to fix this.
