Skyscanner App Reviews
Skyscanner’s company slogan is “Never miss a flight with Skyscanner.” Should we? or should we not? Let’s find out how their travel app works.
IT professionals Gareth Williams, Barry Smith, and Bonamy Grimes established a travel company back in 2001. Well, it was actually after a frustration of finding the best flight deals. It all started in spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel. Skyscanner has been part of the best online travel agencies, but complaints brought their reputation down. They also have a mobile app.

How Does the Skyscanner App Work?
Basically, Skyscanner’s travel app looks more fascinating than their page. It is a 3-in-1 app, as they say. The features of the mobile include not only searching for flight deals but also for hotel accommodation and car rentals.
Other features of the travel app include receiving price alerts of daily cheap deals. Travellers can also search for places to book. How? Customers just have to select “Everywhere” instead of a specific destination and it will give results to several attractions around the world listed in prices as well. Their Top Deals section provides information of the best deals from the nearest airport at your place.
Also, Skyscanner app’s language can be changed. The travel app can be used on tablets as well.
Skyscanner App Reviews of Users
However, given the popularity of the travel app, consumers are not happy with the services they have. It actually shows, because several complaints are showing online regarding unprocessed yet paid reservations. This has been the long-going problem with Skyscanner. One customer actually said:
“You ruined the one function I use your app for. I’m a business traveler, I use your app to search flights and then pass the itinerary to my clients who book the trips. Unfortunately in your recent update you changed the share this flight feature. it no longer puts the itinerary details in an email. it only puts a screenshot like a picture in an email which is worthless. please bring back the share my trip function until then I cannot use your app.”

Skyscanner should be aware that the complaints they have had for years were never resolved. And, as much as they try to expand their services, they should fix the root problem first. Maybe one day, no one will actually try to book with them. Come to think of it, they don’t even address their customers’ complaints.
